Sue Rutford has been indulging her love of sewing and working with fiber since she was a Brownie who accidentally stitched a project onto the skirt of her uniform! She's been teaching tie-dye, surface design, sewing, bookmaking, and other "making stuff" classes to adults and children at several venues in the Twin Cities.

Joan Skalbeck views life differently than most. Her world is defined by color. Joan is the founder and artistic force behind Primrose Gradations, a fabric company that produces hand dyed fabrics for the quilting and craft markets. Primrose Gradations has a worldwide customer base and its fabric is incorporated in many award winning quilts and art projects. Currently on sabbatical from her fabric dying company, Joan's latest project is Primrose on Superior, a retreat center dedicated to fiber arts located along the north shore of Lake Superior. Joan continues to explore her art in various surface design projects. She is also teaching in Minnesota sharing her passion for color and surface design. Joan lives in the Twin Cities of St. Paul/Minneapolis, Minnesota.
