Quilting became part of Cindy Provencher's life 15 years ago when her first child was born. She have been a quilting addict ever since. " I have done many different quilting projects, everything from wall quilts to bed quilts, lap quilts & baby quilts. In the past few years I have enjoyed learning new techniques from hand dying my own fabrics to different types of surface design. My latest passion is small projects with creative surface embellishments." Cindy has been teaching various quilting classes and owned her own long arm quilting buisness in Duluth Minnesota for the past 8 years. She has been a guest teacher for a fiber arts guild in Dryden, Canada. Cindy's quilting work has been featured in the two books; Quilts from the Quiltmakers Gift and More Quilts from the Quiltmakers Gift by Joanne Larsen Line and Nancy Loving Tubesing.. Cindy and her husband Joe, shared in a joint quilt project featured in More Quilts from the Quiltmakers Gift. She was given the honor of quilting several of the quilts featured in both books.
