The Primrose Gradations Collection™ is a collection of hand-dyed 78 x 78 ct. cotton fabric and accessories designed and produced especially for the discerning fabric artist who requires unusual hues and consistent color quality for their works of art. By carefully controlling the dying process, Primrose color artist Joan Skalbeck is able to insure the quality and consistency of her product. She demands complete artistic control over the products and personally insures that it meets her rigid standards. The fabric is dyed so it is slightly mottled, reading as a solid from a distance , subtly revealing its rich color texture as the eye draws near. The hues and gradations produced by Joan offer textile artists the ability to choose colors and accessories to produce quality, unique works. Bundled sets in gradations of eight colors are available for purchase online. Bundled sizes range from 6" squares, Fat Quarter sets (18"x22"), Quarter Yard sets (9"x44"), and Half Yard Sets (18"x44"). Larger bundled sets can be custom ordered. Individual colors are available by calling toll free 888-393-2787 (888-DYE-ARTS). All colors are available in 1/2 increments from 1/2 yard to 4 yards. Due to the unique properties of small-batch hand-dyeing, color might vary slightly from batch to batch. Please keep this in mind when ordering fabric for your projects. Differences in color monitors, search engines and internet servers can affect the hues represented on this web site. Every effort has been made to insure the accuracy of the colors represented.
